5.合同期是多长?是约束性合同吗?

19.你需要有机组人员的工作经验吗?

24.培训包括什么?在哪里参加?

集中的5周培训在迪拜用英文进行,地点在阿联酋民航学院。主要包括实践和理论方面的安全,优先救护和服务(包括飞机部件)。受训者在每项课程中都是正常丰富的文化融合。对每一个模块都有规范的评估和苛刻的考核标准,所以需要有高标准的表现和付出,才能顺利通过考核

25.在培训中会得到工资或报酬吗?在培训过程中能得到公司住宿吗?

2.        What are the Cabin Crew opportunities in Emirates?
Being based in Dubai, Emirates Airline offers its Cabin Crew an international lifestyle, an attractive tax free salary including free quality accommodation and the opportunity to work with an award winning multicultural team. Salaries for Cabin Crew are very competitive and packages of attractive travel benefits and excellent professional development opportunities are available.

3.        Is this a rewarding career path and why?

There are amazing career advancement opportunities within Emirates and certainly far more rapid and attainable than what you would find with other airlines.  Currently high performing Cabin Crew have been able to attain the position of flight purser within five years and have also opportunities to become trainers on cabin service.  There are many people in mid and upper management who started with the company as Cabin Crew and now work in various other departments.  It is by no means a dead end job; opportunities abound, and wait for you to pursue them, based on performance of course!

4.        What is Dubai like as a lifestyle destination? 
From a country that relied on pearl diving, Dubai has now developed into an international tourism and regional business hub. It is a modern and cosmopolitan city where people of many cultures and religious backgrounds live and work in harmony. Dubai offers a lot of advantages and prides itself on being one of the most exciting cities in the world. Dubai is a city of contrast, a land where the old and the new, common traditional and modern, east and west blend seamlessly to produce a fascinating, mysterious, exciting place with a distinct personality all of its own. There is an endless variety of superb restaurants and facilities catering for all tastes.

5.        How long is the contract and is it binding?
As Governmental regulations are set in place, it is a 3 years non-binding renewable contract, if both parties agree.  There is a probationary period of 6 months commencing from the date of joining.

6.        Is healthcare provided?
Emirates provide all Cabin Crew with a comprehensive package for healthcare services at the designated Emirates Medical & Dental clinic.

7.        Does Emirates provide any insurance cover?
All Cabin Crew are insured on a 24-hour worldwide basis under a life insurance and personal accident insurance policies.  The Company policy on insurance is detailed in the Emirates Group Employee Handbook which will be issued to employees upon joining the company.

8.        Does Emirates offer a pension scheme?
Emirates provide a non-contributory End of Service Benefit (EOSB) (a lump sum of money according to the salary scale) on completion of three years continual service.

9.        What is the pay structure/allowance?
Your pay consists of a fixed basic salary, an hourly pay for operated flights and an overseas allowance. 
10.   Pay Scale:
Grade II:  Basic Monthly Salary AED.3640/- (1 USD = approx. AED 3.673) Tax Free in the UAE.
Flying Pay:  On an hourly basis:
Grade II AED 47.50 per hour.
Paid between chocks off and chocks on. Flying pay is paid in the month following accrual.
Meal allowances are paid in the currency of the country of night stop.  Transport to & from the airport, and hotel accommodation is provided by the company.

11.     When may I apply for concessional travel?
Rebate travel concessions apply  after 6 months  service. An unlimited number of ID 90 subload tickets and ID 50 firm tickets are available for self and on Emirates only.
There are also limited concessionary travel facilities available for direct family members.

12.     How much leave will I be entitled to?
Cabin Crew are entitled to 30 calendar days leave per year based on availability of leave slots.  One firm free annual leave ticket is provided to your country of origin.  After 3 years of service this may be taken to any destination on the Emirates network.

13.     What is accommodation like and is it expensive? Can you live out and still get an allowance?
Emirates provide most of their employees with either company accommodation or living out allowance (the living out allowance is at the company discretion). Emirates provide all new crew with luxury shared accommodation that is conveniently and centrally located. Most have recreational facilities such as gyms etc. They are all fully air-conditioned.

14.     Can my family come to visit?
Family members can utilize confessional travel benefits for their visits.

15.     Can different genders share accommodation?
Dubai is an Islamic country. Different genders sharing accommodation is frowned upon unless married by law.

16.     How often & how soon can I go home?
All employees are on an initial 6 months probation - travel to your home country could however resume during this time but would mostly take place after 6 months during annual leave time.  We fly to over 77 destinations and you could have the opportunity to be rostered to your home country based on operational requirements.

17.     How many job applications does Emirates receive? How many Cabin Crew are working with Emirates at present?
Emirates receives over 30,000 applications for Cabin Crew via various mediums on an average per month via different mediums for Cabin Crew.  Nearly 6,000 Cabin Crew are working with us now.

18.     Can I attend a Cabin Crew interview in any country where Emirates recruitment campaigns are being held?
Yes, If Emirates is not conducting interviews in your home country, you may be invited to attend the selection process in a nearby country or you may choose to attend the open days as advertised.  Should you choose to attend; expenses incurred will not be reimbursed.

19.     Do you need previous experience as Cabin Crew? 
Previous Cabin Crew experience is not essential but an added benefit.

20.     What does Emirates look for in Cabin Crew?
When seeking to identify those with potential for Cabin Crew, irrespective of nationality, we are looking for a positive attitude, confidence, flexibility, maturity, a friendly disposition, and importantly a genuine passion to help others and to provide quality service.  As the job can be very tiring and very busy we would also look for those with a resilience and commitment to continually perform well in a job that can be very demanding.

21.     Do you need another language? What is the predominantly spoken language?
In Dubai, English is widely spoken as is Arabic; no extra language is therefore required. There are a number of language institutions in Dubai if you do wish to learn another language.

22.     What is the recruitment process like?
Interested candidates will be short listed and undergo an initial screening.  Many, but not all of the candidates will then be observed in various assessment exercises.  Finally an interview will be arranged a few days later for those identified as possessing potential for Emirates Cabin Crew. 
Those not making it through the initial screening process may reapply after 6 months.
Those not making it through after the interviews may reapply after one year.

23.     If selected to join Emirates as Cabin Crew what medical tests are required?
Two pre-employment medical tests are required, one in your home country at your own expense  and one upon arrival in Dubai which will be conducted at the Emirates Group Clinic  as a legal requirement for all Emirates flying staff.

24.     What is involved in the training? Where does it take part?
Intensive 5 week training in Dubai is conducted in English and takes place at the Emirates Aviation College. This includes the practical and theoretical aspects of safety, first aid and service including aircraft modules.  The trainees on each course are normally a rich cultural mix. There are regular assessments with stringent pass marks for each module. Hence a high standard of performance and dedication is required.

25.     Do you get paid / compensated whilst training & are you provided with Company accommodation whilst on training?
Your basic salary is calculated from the first day of joining. Company accommodation is also provided from the start.

26.     Are you allocated flights as soon as you join training?
You are given a roster on the day of your graduation, which is at the end of your training. You will initially be allocated supernumerary flights which are for observations and developmental feedback will be provided in order to identify any further training needs prior to your first operational flight.

27.     When do you get a roster? How many days off do you get in a month?
Cabin Crew has a monthly roster and has approximately 8 days off per month.

28.     What are promotions based on? 
Cabin Crew promotions are performance based and assessed.
